Superficially, their life seems all right. They can manage life as normal as we are (Sometimes even manage their life better than us.) They can do their job well (e.g. teach well if they are teachers), relate to others well , have a good EQ.....Everything seems OK. But we must not see them superficially. We must see them DEEPLY. Satan want us to see them superficially but God want us to see them deeply. The following things about the unbelievers must be always reminded in our heart: 1. They have no eternal hope and no eternal joy from God. They can only have happiness ONLY if THEIR LIFE RUNS WELL. If they have tragedies, they cannot have God¡¥s intervention. They may break down. 2. They are bounded by sins and their flesh 3. Their life is solely controlled by Satan . 4. They have no eternal counselors, no helpers and instructors. 5. They are fear of death. Death can win them. They can never lives well with their relatives and friends after death. Separation is their ultimate fate. 6. They will go to hell, suffered from eternal fire. 7. All their blessings in this world are temporary. They have no more blessings after their death. 8. Others: (please tell me if you have more concepts about their misery). So, we must preach them the GOOD NEWS ! ¡@ Ministry is always victorious The key of success in ministry is often the faith. When we preach to others, are we having strong faith in what we preach? Are we confident that Christ really is man's cure and the only solution of one's life. Are we deeply believe that when one has no Christ, they are very ,very miserable? (even they seem have a good life, good job and good family etc.) We must exhibit this kind of faith in preaching. Even our flesh tries to bombard our belief, we neglect it and tell ourselves that what we say is really the fact! Faith in the Gospel is really the most influential things to others. Also, we need the faith in knowing that God really works in the man I preach. God really, really works ! Even the person seems to have bad feedback, we still believe God is working. I hate the flesh telling me to give up and become discouraged in preaching. Preaching should never be discouraged. Preaching is always winning ! There is no loss in the battle of God's work. God is always the winner. He always win. So, discard the unbelieving voice of the flesh. Satan then retreat. ¡@ Do you want to promote in the social ladder ? In the present days, there is a rule being set up by mankind called PROMOTION RULE. It says that one should be progressed and be promoted in the careers during one's life especially in male. If there is no promotion, getting higher position, higher salary, more certificates, then one would be deemed as weak and has little ability. The man himself would feel himself as worthless and insignicant. This mentality is widespread in a country like Hong Kong where much opportunities are given to those who want to invest their life in their careers. Under this rule, one is forced to invest his most beautiful and energetic times in his life in jobs and studies. The driving factors may not only be the financial one, but also factors of self-esteem, frame, praises, power...etc. Why one must be promoted in his careers? Why can't one be satisfied in staying in a junior position throughout his life and use all his available time to preach, to relate to God, to enjoy life as God given to him, to make more times with the families and friends....etc ? Even in the Christian circles, we are infected by this mentality and always asked by the brothers and sisters about our promotion, our getting of more certificates...etc. May we fight against this tricks from Satan ! ¡@ The blessing of prayer Ministry is an occasion for refreshing our soul. Prayer is an occasion for refocusing of our life. Through prayer, our focus will be shifted to God's side. Our concern would be focused on God's concern. Our mind will be focused on God's word. Our love will be focused on God's love. It is a great time for ENGINEERING our life ! ¡@ The joy of ministry We are far more lucky than the believers. They have only work time, leisure time or rest time etc. But they never have the time for Refreshing (in ministry). They can have hobbies. They can make fund times. But they never have the time of refreshing of their soul during the ministry time. In serving to our Lord, we find the real meaning of life. We refreshes our soul by telling others about God. Holy spirit's joy can have the chance of filling our soul when telling others about God. It is itself an exciting and joyful experience. So, ministry is the occasion for refreshing our souls.
